Per my server’s description, trying to make it sound more appetizing than it should, this is similar to "Corona with the lime already in it!" As part of the sampler, I feel obligated to try it at least. Although pre-limed Corona doesn’t sound too tempting to me. Pours a pale yellow color. Little white head, was a film before I knew it. Aromas were grainy and dare I say a touch citrusy. Not a Cascade hop citrus, but, but, but,.....lime! The taste was crisp and bubbly, with more grainy malt feel and some of the sweet-sour of the lime. Little in the way anywhere in hops. Thin mouthfeel. As I won’t mow my lawn then immediately enter the Mash House for one of their Summer Brew offerings, I can’t see this beer being worthy of a menu listing. A novel try with new tastes infused in a beer, but it just wasn’t for me. Better than Corona, yes. But why even try to duplicate such a thing in the first place?
wilkie (1092), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Jul 10, 2004 Draught. Very light pale color. See through with a nice lacing white head. Wheaty and yeasty aroma, and flavor is same. Slightly sour.
