There was a distinctive lemony flavour - almost as if it had been mixed with Palmolive dishwashing liquod (perhaps that the ’secret’ mentioned in the description above). Could not drink a whole glass. Very disappointing.

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear deep gold with a average white head that retains poorly. Aroma is very sweet with a gingery spice note, in a ginger-ale way, not a real ginger way. Surprisingly the first flavour that I find is cocoa, followed by a syrpy sugary sweetness with that same ginger-ale flavour. Flavourful, but too sweet with nothing in the finish to balance it out. Furthermore, the flavour combination of cocoa and ginger just don’t work. Is the "hidden secret" cocoa? WTF? bozoNZ (507), Christchurch, New Zealand
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 17, 2008 330ml Pale yellow, big head but thins quick. Sweet, slightly grainy aroma. Sweet again with a metallic touch. Faint citrus and a ’SuperWine’ biscuit sweet finish. Ginger warmth rather than ginger flavoured. Different - perhaps the beer version of L & P! yalnikim (783), Wellington, New Zealand
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Tasted 07/06/2008. Pours an effervescent pale gold, brilliant, with a fast disappearing white head. Weedy, slightly spicy, grainy aroma. Clean. Clean again in the mouth at first, with a medium sweetness, a warming woody spicy bite and metallic note through the middle, more weediness, some lemony herb and then a husky sweet graininess in the finish. Soapy aftertaste. Meh... I can’t get through it. Possibly the worst "finisher" I’ve ever had, promised a little but delivered muck. I suppose it can’t always be a winner. | 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Bottle, pouring a clear pale gold with a huge white foamy head. Lemony and ginger aroma, but vegetable and a bit caustic. Ugh, I don’t know what to make of this. Lemony and ginger again, but a real washing liquid flavour to it all. Will be tough finishing this.... Plimmer (251), Frederiksberg, Denmark
