Bottle courtesy of travita. Clear golden pour. Smells of hops but nasty hops. Sweaty underarms. Taste is quite spicy. Some sweet but gets bowled over by the hop nasty. Bleh.

Bottle thanks to travita. Pours with a white head and a clear golden body. Aroma of tea and hops, very herbal. Taste is odd...let me rephrase...horrible. Exotic tea leaf (yerba) and bitterness with some vegetable notes. Why put Yerba Mate in a beer?

This hazy golden ale poured with a foamy white head and a fruity aroma. However, the flavor is anything but fruity. It’s very herbal and slightly sour with a little hop bitterness. I happen to like mate, so this one is very drinkable for me but, as a beer, it leaves much to be desired.

Clear golden pour, with small white head. Earthy hops, citrus, a bit sourness and herbal flavor, vegetable, and metallic. Not very good.

Found this at Famous Market in white lake Mi.poured a cloudy dark golden with no head. aroma orange, floral, sugar, hops, some sourness. flavor, hard to describe this, I do not think I have anything that tasted like this. got some citrus and alcohol and did get olives which I do not like and do not eat them so maybe that is why I can not get anything else

650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a translucent copper color with a medium white head that has fair retention and some lacing. The aroma is moderate in strength with some herbs, sour beans and something metallic-vegetable. Not good. The flavor is kinda weird with a vegetable quality, some mildly biter hops and the occasional hint of biscuit. The palate is where this really falls apart. it is thin and watery. The finish is short, dry and metallic. Clearly not my favorite, but why, oh why, does every organic ale have to suck.

The aroma is floral, but also has a rancid note in there that throws it. This rancidity is not in the nose, however. I pick up on the olive notes described in previous ratings. Finishes dry. This does not work - its not really an IPA and its not really an herb beer. Just sour mash.

22 ounce bottle purchased at the Davis Food Co-Op. Aroma is very herbal, floral, with some ethanol properties present. There is almost a honey-like presence, too. Transparent dark golden body present with a small off-white head. Not much in the way of lacing. Very tart, astringent, floral, herbal spiciness is present to start. Tastes like pimento olives and olive juice. This is followed by some metallic hop flavors. Finishes pretty dry. Unenjoyable. Bad concept.
