DuffMan (2194), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jun 27, 2005 Found this as a lone bottle in the bottom of a local bottle shop-- bad omen? Standard lager appearance and nose, and fairly standard palate too. Overall better than the macros, but not very distinguishable. ALLOVATE (1127), Perth, Australia Feb 26, 2005 Seemed to sought out this lager, tucked away in the back of the fridge, amazed at my difficulty anyone bought it at all. Sharp spicy hop aroma, reminds me of a tropical fernery. Crystal clear gold body, with a short soapy white head. Flavours of sweet malt upfront, bitter grassy hop sides and a very clean, bitter swallow and short clammy aftertaste Nothing offensive, very clean, but heavily unbalanced. Above Oz’s norm, but still bog standard. Nemo (100), Fremantle, Australia Jun 24, 2004 Yellow Colouring with a small head which doesn’t last very long. Watery, bland, mild, bitter, fizzy flavour. A hint of being a bit woody. Think I’ll pass on this one in the future. Sully (1362), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Jan 7, 2004 Presented as premium but at this ABV they are kidding us surely. A typical attempt at presenting a beer that is inoffensive. Offend me please. Jahills (151), Cambridge (Hobart), Australia Dec 27, 2003 I thought this beer was a good quality quite well made lager. Sharpish aroma, well balanced. Clean and pure and it finishes a little dry and bitter.
