Commercial Description:
Brewed with Lager Yeast to let the wheat shine through. Cristal is light, refreshing and cleansing with a fruity aroma and a distinct citrus note. The palate is light and crisp with a refreshing tartness derived from the wheat malt. Great with or without lemon and without prawns.

Very ordinary offering from Matilda Bay. Poured okay with a decent head but thin body. Aroma of grass

...bottle. Poured a weak, clear piss yellow, with absolutely no head at all. Way too overly carbonated and metallic in this sad attempt. On the nose was essence of cardboard, soap, metal, and maybe rat piss. Flavors were reminicent of dog slobber, shitty home-brew, and miller high life. Finished dry, with a nasty metallic aftertaste. This is not a "wheat beer" in any aspect, and should be given away for free as a lesson on what wheat beers should not taste like. I’m glad this was reduced to clear, but was still a waste of money. Anyone who likes this trash should be bitch slapped with an octopus. The brewers should he kicked in the balls from behind, then forced to drink this horrible liquid untill they liquid scream. Maybe then they will realize that they should have been killed for brewing such a disaster, and giving wheat beers a bad name.

Is it cold? Yes. Is it wet? Yes. Does it get you pissed? Yes. Then who gives a shit. It is a beer. Although I was not overly wowed by this beer. I expected a beer with a full flavour. I guess I should not have expected Redback Original to have some of its traits in this beer.
