bozoNZ (393), Christchurch, New Zealand Jun 20, 2007 330 ml bottle. Std NZ draught colour. Slight biscuity and a damp cotton aroma. Quite malt/mealy flavours but a thin finish. Decent alternative to other mainstream offerings.
donfardz64 (169), Wellington, New Zealand Jul 4, 2008 On tap at brewery bar. Pours pale golden. Small malt aromas, clean body, bitter, not much hop, a bit watery. Nutty malt lingers a bit. Quite simple. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 19, 2008 (On tap) Clear, amber golden with a small, white head. Sweetish malt aroma. Light in body with light notes of malt and caramel. There’s also a light, underlying acidity. The finish is dry. 190208 yalnikim (681), Wellington, New Zealand Jul 16, 2007 Tasted 27/10/2006. 5oz taster from tap at the brewery bar. Brown, whispy off-white head, caramelly, slight ester. Cold, quite thin and with a sugary cidery bite. Nothing wrong with this, besides the philosophy behind it’s recipe.
