(Bottle 35,5 cl) Apparently composed from a recipe by a retired firefighter as support and homage to the policemen and rescue workers of 9/11. Amber coloured lager with a pretty decent head. Malty with excellent hop aromas.

Contrary to the description, this is an amber lager. The malts used in this are very good, and it could have almost passed for a bitter ale. I'm going to leave aside the whole "a portion of the proceeds goes to Police, Fire..." etc., and just talk about the beer. Light to medium amber. Decent mouthfeel, tart in the finish which hips you to the fact that its lager, I guess. Drinkable, but perhaps commerically maudlin.
