Tap at brewery: Amber-orange haze; nice and frothy head. Lightish yet refreshing and drinkable texture. Carbonation seemed a bit high, especially for the style. Some residual astringency as well. Malts were lightly toasted. Hardly any sweetness to speak of. Malt flavors weren’t very exciting, in general. Hops produced a bit of a "zing," but they were somewhat boring and one-dimensional. Bitterness left me yearning for more. Overall, I thought it was a drinkable session beer, but it didn’t have much personality.
