stefanje (596), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Jul 4, 2008 12 oz can from bevmo. Pours a copper color with a big sudsy off white head that had good retention and plenty of lacing. The aroma is strong and hoppy with citrus and pine. Really good nose. The taste is hoppy, smooth caramel, sweet ripe peaches, a bit of vanilla and toffee malts. The mouthfeel is smooth and malty. The finish is short and sweet. Overall: This is one hell of an IPA, and it comes from a can.
The_Epeeist (982), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 12, 2008 12 oz can. Clear earthy orange brown with a creamy ivory head. Nose is spruce, tangerine and mango. Juicy with sharp carb; fresh and lively but plenty to chew on. Taste is grilled pineapple, caramel and lemon zest with a soft doughy finish. Delicious. I could drink this all the time. Bier brauen (145), Bremerton, Washington, USA Oct 11, 2008 A very fresh tasting ipa, both in aroma and taste. I wish I could just go to my local store to get it. :( pantanap (793), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 11, 2008 12oz can from hophead22...... pours a medium apple cider brown and frothy white head.... aroma of assertive sweet tropical fruits and to a lesser extent grapefruit..... nice balance of malts and somewhat generic fruity hops. some lasting touch of bitterness that lingers on the tongue but it is very subtle. mouthfeel lacks body and is a little thin....not bad though. steview (783), Oceanside, California, USA Oct 4, 2008 can: IPA in the can--cool can! perfume, sweetened grapefruit, tinny; fizzy; only okay. cbkschubert (1611), Rattlesnake Country, Arizona, USA Sep 29, 2008 12 oz. can from the Liars’ Club - Pours a hazy amber color with a large off white head.
