DYCSoccer17 (2054), Davis, California, USA Jul 18, 2008 12 ounce can from a 6 pack purchased at BevMo in Vacaville. Doughy, metallic, lightly citrus lemon, and a grassy hop aroma present. Pretty attractive nose. Mildly hazy golden body with a large, fluffy white head present. Good lacing. Light grainy sweetness, followed by some cereal like flavors in the middle. A bit chewy and very drinkable. Finishes with a nice grassy hop kick. I think this fits the style very nicely and is not overly flawed. It’s a good beer.
nqualls (633), Tennessee, USA Jan 1, 2009 12 oz can. Poured a clear yellow with a two finger white head. Aroma of malt and some earthy notes. Flavor was heavily malted. Simple, refreshing beer. fredandboboflo (774), East Setauket, New York, USA Jan 1, 2009 Can. Aroma of basic pale malts and odd, sourish dough. Flavor better with more of a solid breadiness than the odd sourness. Low bitterness. Slight lemony aspect. Enjoyable. LilBeerDoctor (800), East Setauket, New York, USA Jan 1, 2009 Can. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thick white head. Aroma is fairly nondescript, just some wheat malt. Flavor of sweet wheat malt, slight bitter hops in the finish. Fairly carbonated with a spritzy mouthfeel. Not bad really. Simple and easy to drink.
6/4/6/3/14 (3.3/5) Bockyhorsey (2118), Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 21, 2008 Can courtesy of rustychiles. Aroma had some zesy fruits and wheat grains. Murky yellow body with white head. Full bodied beer and more malted grains than the than a refreshing mild bitter lager. Had some fruit in the mix. Alright but dont really think I would be that excited to swim to shore for it. PilsnerPeter (1723), Flushing, New York, USA Dec 4, 2008 Can from hopdog, thanks. Pours a hazy golden with a fizzy fading white head. The aroma is somewhat yeasty along with sweetish pale malts, bready note and a hint of peppery herbal hops. Fizzy feel, highly carbonated. A bit yeasty for the style. Softly sweet, doughy with a mild herbal hop note offering a hint of spicy edge. Simple lager.
