Poured clear dark brown color with a large frothy light brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt and coconut aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy coconut sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration.
Good complex brew that met my expectations.

Aroma of coffee and toasted coconut. Taste was dominated by roasted coffee, molasses, and toasted coconut which became more intense as the ale warmed in the glass. Not overly sweet and very enjoyable. phaleslu (514), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Aroma of coconut and vanilla extracts, roasted malt, and toast. Flavor of roast, toast, caramel, and another odd coconut-vanilla strain that Shawn said was like Malibu. Smooth, with a medium body and syrupy mouthfeel. This is good, but the odd artificiality I’m getting in the nose and mouth keep it from being special. shawnm213 (938), South Bend, Indiana, USA

The coconut is a light touch on the palate. Some toasted malt but also slighty creamy. No bitterness at all. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

Aroma: Rich chocolates; hints of coffee; the coconut pops through; thick Mounds. Appearance: Extremely dark, opaque brown with a small, tan-colored head. Flavor: Toasted coconut and chocolate; roasted malt; Palate: Medium-light; not huge, but very quaffable in large quantities. Overall: Smells and tastes almost just like a Mounds Bar, maybe even Almond Joy...
