Awesome beer.
Beautiful toasted coconut/vanilla nose.
Dark brown/black body with a 1/2 finger head that mostly dies but leaves a touch of lacing.
Lightly roasted malts in the flavor with a great toasted sweetness. Vanilla. Touches of dark fruits. Mostly though, that great vanilla/coconut/toast plays on the tongue in a grand way. Wonderful.
Mouthfeel is decadent given the low ABV with an amazing drinkability.
Highly recommended. Great, well integrated flavors in one easy to drink, low ABV porter. Thumbs up.

Jan 7, 2009 Old rating. Aroma of chocolate and maybe some coconut i think. I couldnt tell if it was actually coconut that i was smelling. A very smooth to drink beer though.

Jan 3, 2009 Dark brownish-orange pour with respectable head. Roasty aroma with hints of caramel. The flavor is mostly of malts and roast nuts with a hint of baked coconut. It drink very easily and is fairly complex in mouthfeel.

Jan 1, 2009 On tap and from a can. Poured a dark brown/black with a one finger brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and a little coconut, but not much on the nose. Flavor was roasted malt, chocolate and a good bit of coconut. Mouthfeel was very creamy.

Dec 29, 2008 Coconut, malt and chocolate milk aroma. Tastes like chocolate milk too, with a complex coconut and tobacco aftertaste. Smoky. Translucent dark brown in color. Love it.

Dec 24, 2008 12oz can from my Secret Santa. Thanks, Santa. Appealing dark pour, with some crisp carbonation and a modest head. Not much coconut in the aroma initially, but it is certainly there and the subtlety is appreciated. Base beer is strong, with modest roasted and chocolate malts blending into a very drinkable porter with a modest body. The toasted coconut is really nice, actually, and complements the porter well. I would like slightly strong roasted and bitter qualities, but that may just be my preference. Overall, very nice.
