elihapa (317), Connecticut, USA Jul 10, 2008 Primo 7/9/08 (bottle. Pours a clear, bright gold with a white head that quickly dissipates. Smell of biscuit, grain, and grass. Kind of macro grungy. Flavor is sweet and relatively inoffensive. Still not altogether pleasant though. Some skunkiness, but still better than an American macro. Just barely.
estoppel (1019), Buffalo, New York, USA Apr 19, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. Not much nose, golden body, white head. This had a vegetal character that detracted significantly. Some bready malts in the finish. Not good. BrewDad (1691), Olympia, Washington, USA Jan 20, 2008 Updated: Jan 21, 2008Pint - Yard House - Honolulu, Hawaii
2008 - Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – Light lager aroma with very light hops in the background.
Appearance – Light golden color with a small head and clear as a bell.
Flavor – Light flavor this was a easy drinking hot day beer. Very light on flavors but the masses will love this beer.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, easy to drink finished dry.
Overall – Primo is back and will do very well with the old masses who want tot try it again. Very light flavors this was a mass crowd swilling brew.
padrefan98 (645), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA May 31, 2007 Sampled at the brewery in beautiful Maui. Interesting style that had little effect on me. Tastes of malt and slight hint of hops. Very little sweetness in the taste as well. fordest (1778), Santee/San Diego, California, USA May 30, 2007 Draft at Brewpub. Pale yellow with smallish white head. Crisp somewhat fruity aromas. Flavors were slightly bitter from the hops, but nothing very exciting.
