Nov 3, 2006 Cask conditioned - handpump - Lincolnshire Poacher Nottingham. A dark brown coloured beer with a creamy white head. The aroma is malty and nutty with a dusting of chocolate. The taste is more of the same, with extra woodiness and raisins. A tasty Autumnal beer.

Mid brown coloured beer with some fruit aroma. Slight bitterness and dryness in the finish.

Nov 7, 2005 Pint pulled at Weatherspoons (Putney, London) as part of their Great Autumn Beer Festival. Ruby brown in colour with a thick creamy head. The aroma is strong with fruity hops with malty undertones. The flavour is quite floral with the strong presense of the Maris Otter malt. Beautifully smooth with the bitterness coming through.

Nov 4, 2003 Cask Conditioned at The Ribs of Beef, Norwich. A mid brown beer with thin head. This is a thinnish tasting beer with a cereal, flakey note. A little overlaid hops, refreshing bitterness.
