harrisoni (5605), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 5, 2007 Cask handpull at County Hotel, JD Wetherspork, Ashford. Amber colour with lasting beige head. Fresh barrel on. Decent hop aroma with sweetish caramel aroma. Quite soft in mouth with a little rubber. Subtle hop finish which hints at hop. I like Mauldons beers as they tend to be very drinkable, and this is the same, I could knock back 3 or 4 pints of this and not notice. reakt (880), Greater London, England Oct 3, 2007 Cask @ JDW. Golden with a fluffy white head. Hop, malt and butterscotch in the nose. Taste is again hops and malt but with a lemony hint. Slightly watery but smooth and drinkable, quite sessionable actually. omhper (11030), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 9, 2006 Updated: Jan 8, 2007Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Deep golden. Aroma of hay and fruit. Dryish with soft, chewy mouthfeel. There’s some grassy hops along with salt. Lingering finish with balanced bitterness. A good quaffer in excellent condition. Svesse (1920), Hässelby, Sweden Nov 7, 2006 (Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Amber colour with frothy, white head. Frutiy nose with citrus, dried apricots and notes of dusty hops. Same goes with the taste: fruity with citrus, apricots and a pleasant bitterness in the finish with balanced notes of dusty hops. Nice, tasty and easy to drink, but nothing extraordinary. ante (2591), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 4, 2006 Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Dark golden colour with a low dissapearing white head.
