Max’s Smoked Marzen

The smoke kept this beer going for its 1 year old life. While thin and slightly watery on the palate, the smoke gives this beer a lot of character. I generally enjoy smoke beers, so I was quite supprised to find this on tap. This new brew pub is making some very complex styles of beer in the Portland area. This beer might be a bit passed its prime, but still holds some good flavors.
