Commercial Description:
Crisp and refreshing, Max Gold is a classic Pilsner style lager that has a medium body and a beautiful gold color. Its slight malt sweetness gives way to a complex hop finish, created by a blend of Tradition and Saaz hops.

A Bohemian Pilsener that pours clear gold with a small head. Hardly any aroma what so ever. Taste had a nice hop initial bite to it but the flavor soon became over come with corn. Too sweet for the style in my opinion.

Not much going on here. A bland, generic brewpub offering for the masses. A step up from BMC but not much of one.

Draft at Max Lager's in downtown Atlanta. This beer had a small sized white head that contained fine-small bubbles that were mostly lasting. The body was uncarbonated, transparent and the hue was golden. The nose was malty, sweet and fruity with a hoppy taste to it. The mouthfeel was smooth and this was a light bodied beer with fair lacing. Not a beer that I would recommend as it was boring, flat and bland.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 18. This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to largf sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a uncarbonated transparent straw yellow colored body. The aroma was of mild malts and the mouthfeel was smooth at the start with a slightly tingly quickly diminishing finish. It had a mellow malt hop flavor. Overall it was not as bad as some of the others from this brewery.

Clear straw with off-white head. Aroma is mild -- mild sweet and light floral. Taste is medium sweet, grassy and floral without much bitterness until the swallow. Nice hops burp. Light body, soem crispness.

Very pale and pellucid in appearance. The pour is very unappealing, but the aroma is nice and slightly hoppy. The hops have a slight presence in the taste, but mostly malty and unbalanced. Finish is lightly chalky and bitter.

Pale straw gold body but the head was nothing much. On the nose is crisp, clean hops that are appropriate to the style. The flavor is nice crisp straw malt, a little dry. The hops are just big enough to give it a crisp bite and nothing more. A little sour in the finish.

Grainy aroma. Flavor has a distinct German character and the hopping builds as you drink it. A very clear gold. Crisp and clean.
