kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA May 21, 2006 Draft....Pours to a golden orange color with medium white head and good lacing. Not much aroma that I could detect. Good taste, starts out on the malt side, with the hops becoming more evident at mid-glass. Bland finish. Not a bad beer, but I enjoyed the Max Pale more. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA May 7, 2004 Medium amber, edging on copper with a lovely bubbling soup of a head. The body is not quite perfectly clear, but the hazing is only slight. Great lacing. Slightly hoppy on the nose. There is a surprising burst of malt up front on the flavor, but it fades to a nicely balanced lager after a few sips. Nice and clean without being bland, but not as crisp as some. BBB63 (4199), La Porte, Indiana, USA May 20, 2003 Golden color, good head and medium body. Good balance between malts and hops. Clean aftertaste. Pretty good offering. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jun 28, 2002 Updated: Apr 4, 2005Golden brew without much of a head. Aroma is yeasty, sweetbread and slightly peaty. A sweet beer with a clear orange gel flavor. Clean finish, perhaps a little on the thin side. (Personal Note: FH Relay trip with Wayne & Leo)
