OKBeer (1159), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 15, 2009 On tap at the brewpub, 4/24/08. Golden amber colour with a mostly lasting creamy off-white head. Initial “green” character is taken over quickly by a bready, fruity, citrus, and woody aroma. Bready malts with a citrus, fruity, and woody bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft, but very nearly flat mouthfeel. Enjoyable pale ale. NachlamSie (1630), Tennessee, USA May 11, 2009 on tap at the brewpub. This is very cloudy and on the darker side of IPA’s, kind of a murky dark copper. Good head here. I am surprised by the hop definition in the aroma. It’s very bright, sharp with grapefruit and pine with a dash of caramel. Palate is smooth with just enough blatant malt sweetness. Citrus is throughout with a dry, bitter finish and a tiny sour twang. I can’t believe what a drinkable beer I’ve stumbled across. Props. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 22, 2007 on tap-pours a retaining off white head and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is nice citrus/pine hops. Taste is nice citrus/pine hops-some bitter, faint medium malt-some sweet. Semi-dry finish. OK carbonation. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 03/27/1998

KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA Aug 24, 2007 The best beer of the bunch, but the more I had, the less I liked it. I think a lot people may have only had the sampler and thus overrated it. IT truel y got worse as it went on, IMO.
It had a nice enough head, which was the only thiing from keeping this a 2 in appearance as it looked almost like a hefe with hazy hues and light colors. Not what an IPA shoudl look like. The aroma wasn’t bad. A lot like an American IPA should, citrus, grapefruit, pine, floral. The flavor was good, but like I said seemed to lesen over the pint. marksahara (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Dec 24, 2006 On draught at Max Lager’s on P-tree. Nice light golden-amber appearance with virtually no crown and light lacing. Aroma is very prominent with citrus hops, moreso than the Imperial IPA they had on tap. Nice bitterness throughout and nice hoppy finish. Good subtle malt backbone provides a nice balance between the hops. Mildly carbonated and overall a very drinkable and enjoyable beer. It would be great with some white or common fish. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Jun 9, 2006 tap at ewery. top ten in atlanta isn’t saying much if this is in it. straw color pour. hop and grapefruit. too much fruit. As I found with many of their beers the finish is too tart. kimcgolf (824), Dacula, Georgia, USA May 21, 2006 Draft......Very strong citrus-hop aroma, mostly grapefruit. Disappointed in the appearance, light orange, with absolutely no head or lacing, but had a . good taste and finish. Drank this outside in 80 degree weather, a perfect fit for a warm May evening.
