| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 26, 2003 Clear golden with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit with some orange. Taste is strong grapefruit, fairly bitter -- straightforward bite. Minimal carbonation, chewy medium body. Nice interpretation of a West Coast PA. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is nice citrus/pine hops. Taste is nice citrus/pine hops-some bitter, faint medium malt-some sweet. Semi-dry finish. OK carbonation. CaptainCougar (5538), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 25, 2006 Pours a clear pale golden with a frothy, nicely-lacing white head. Earthy, lightly bitter hoppy aroma has some pale malt presence. Grainy semi-sweet flavor has some mild floral bitterness before a dry bittersweet finish. Doesn’t have that big fresh hop presence and malty balance I like in IPAs. goldtwins (4086), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 5, 2006 Draft @ downtown location. Poured a clear golden color with a thin off-white head. The aroma had a light fruitiness and light hop. The aroma while fruity did not have much sweetness. Light fruity malt flavor but this was very short leading to some bitterness. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2006 The best beer in their lineup, I think the only one to have. Aroma has hop in ity. Nicely hopped and fruity. Hoppy carbonation, tast e the spruce and leaf in the finish. Not too malted down, but also not an IPA either. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

This draft brew was enjoyed at the brewery in Atlanta Georgia. We had this brew with dinner. It was described as a West Coast IPA. It poured a small head of fine to very large sized ,mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lace and a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body. The aroma was very hoppy and it had a medium hoppy flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth at the start, hoppy and finished with a slightly bitter ending Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2004 Light gold/dark yellow color with hardly head to speak of. Aroma is citrus and a bit of resin. Taste is more sour than bitter, but picks up a bit in the malty finish. Medium bodied, decent.
