Near black colored with red hints, medium sized beige head. Nuts dominate this aroma with sweetness and slight roastiness, thin berries and chocolate also present. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is also strongly sweet with same nuts dominating, some grains and chocolate here too. Aftertaste is sweet still with hops. Maybe too sweet, but still fine doppelbock.

500 ml bottle. From Germany. Dark brown colour with small tan head. Caramel sweetness and dried fruits in dark malty aroma. Brown sugar, dried fruits, malts and some hoppy bitterness in flavour. Dryish. Some alcoholic notes. I guess I’m the first non-Danish to rate this beer.
