Maxlrainer Pils

Cloudy golden with no head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel notes. Sweet fruity aroma with malty and grainy notes. Flavour was fruity with grassy hops and malty notes. Finished bitter.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The flavor has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt straw, citrus, and malt, leading to a strawy finish. Thanks to yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light citrusy. Bitter and citrusy hops flavoured. Slight grassy flavoured too. Dry and crisp hoppy fruity flavoured finish.

330 ml bottle. From Germany. Pale golden colour with small white head. Malty and grassy hoppy aroma. Some sweetness in malty flavour. Not much hoppiness. Some bitterness but also earthy notes.

Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, dusty, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter and sour malt with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. 0.33 l bottle from BeerAngel. Pale golden color with frothy head. The aroma and flavor has honeyish malt, herbal hops and some tart fruitiness. The flavor is dryish with firm slightly coarse bitterness. Tart fruitiness detracts from clean firm hop and malt profile.

Straw coloured, large fluffy head. Big hay aroma, a touch papery. Pleasant carbonation. Quite big in the mouth, hops quite up-front. Some artificial sweetener. Kinda messed up. Hoppiness very drying, and sticks to the tongue for ever. Very interesting perversion of the pilsner style, but not really my thing.
