| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 15, 2008 Bottled, filtered, 500ml from Westholme Stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon. Pale gold with white head, fizzed. Initially not too bad, the first mouthful seemed sharp and dry, but this was misleading because after the initial CO2 burst the beer became too sweet and flabby, quite cereal grainy in character. Perhaps a touch of lemon hop in the finish, but nothing to grab interest. Disappointing.
