Commercial Description:

from beerangel.de - hazy orange coloured with a good head retention; a bit dusty with notes of peanuts and aromatic hops; sweet and with a moderate carbonation, some bitterness before a malty and peanutty finish

Bottle 50cl. w. swing top @ home.
Light unclear light to medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, overripped fruit - apple notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20090723]

Bottled fliptop (Beerangel, BB 09/2009). Clear golden-amber color, good white head. Grassy hops and lemon soap in the nose. Good malty brew, caramel, grassy hops, fruity notes with a twist. Malty, oily and slightly hoppy aftertaste. Balanced and enjoyable in its own style. My 3rd beer from Schlossbrauerei Maxlrain - seems to be at least above average brewery.

Bottle (from beerangel.de). Ambery golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, some wood and also nice hoppy notes. Also some slight honeyish notes as it warms up. Flavour is toffee, sweet malts, some slight wheaty notes as well. Mild bittery notes in the finish.

Bottle 0,5 l. Darker side of golden, hefe hazy and fluffy disappearing head. Not much nose, a bit of yeast and maltiness. Flavor is honeyish, malty, a bit of hefe and slightly sour. Maybe a hint of bitterness, but no hoppiness. Subtle sour aftertaste. A bit alcoholic sweetness too. Somewhat straightforward and boring, but nice nevertheless. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is very very thin. Almost non existant. Very light malt aromas. Taste is wonderful. A nice malty body with a light bitterness and a sweet, honey flavor in the finish. Nicely balanced beer that would rate higher with some nose.

Hay and dust in the nose and a hint of sulfur. Creamy malt body--fairly broad and thick--with a little camal and even nutty in the background. Dryish end but not really bitter. Nice balance.

Dusty orange color - with a nice eggshell colored cushy head. Fresh hay and a bit sulphur in the nose. Nice refreshing- a bit citrusy iwth a slight grassy finish that goes by quick.
