Dusty orange color - with a nice eggshell colored cushy head. Fresh hay and a bit sulphur in the nose. Nice refreshing- a bit citrusy iwth a slight grassy finish that goes by quick.

Oct 13, 2008 Bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is very very thin. Almost non existant. Very light malt aromas. Taste is wonderful. A nice malty body with a light bitterness and a sweet, honey flavor in the finish. Nicely balanced beer that would rate higher with some nose.

Aug 24, 2008 Hay and dust in the nose and a hint of sulfur. Creamy malt body--fairly broad and thick--with a little camal and even nutty in the background. Dryish end but not really bitter. Nice balance.

Feb 6, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy orange, creamy off-white head. Fruity nose, orange and peach flavornotes with a nioce bitter counterpoint. Creamy mouthfeel, light sparkly.

Oct 23, 2007 500ml swing-top bottle (BB.25.11.07) to celebrate a new edition of my latest book on early modern witchcraft. A bit unclear, dark amber body with a rocky, white foam, slowly reduced to a filmy head. Light aroma of caramel malts. Sweet and a rather tangy caramel taste throughout with vague hints of dark berries in the ending. Foamy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation (22.10.2007).
