Turbid orangy brown, brief cream head. Quite rustic aroma, heading towards earthy and barky. Yeast and banana of course there a bit too. Pleasant carbonation. Plenty of retronasal esters while in the mouth. Spicy - clove - too, and a touch of flowery perfume. Finish is the only place I got hops, which are clearly classic noble ones - Tet, probably. In part a little watery - but that just makes it an easier quaffer. Very drinkable. joss (3690), Garching b. München, Germany
