Commercial Description:
Rich roasted grains and aromas of chocolate and roasted coffee abound in this deep dark mahogany beer. Below the medium brown head lie slightly sweet flavors of rich molasses, caramel, bittersweet chocolate and hints of dark plum. Robust darker fruit flavors derived from the malt (stone fruit) without being bitter. Lingering dry finish.

On tap at the brewery. Pours very dark brown, almost black with a smooth brown head. Medium roast and dark chocolate in the nose. Very smooth body, dark bakers chocolate in the flavor, soft coffee tones, mild earthy finish with the hops. Really good brew, one of the best i’ve had from this brewery.
