Yah, not to often you find a 3 year old barleywine on tap, and when you do you expect to pay more then 3.50 or so for a glass. This beer was just incredible, big rich flavors that have gained a lot of character over the years. The 11% ABV doesn’t show at all in the flavor. Bready and a big melted caramel flavor up front, warming you up inside. Chocolate and notes of port in the finish. Here’s to hoping they have another keg to release next year for the 4 year old version.
