Apr 18, 2006 Bottle. Orange colour with a big off-white head. Caramel malty, butter aroma and taste, sweet. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Dec 26, 2005 Bottled. Didn’t care much for the aroma with just hints of caramel malts and light herbal. Amber color, off-white head, nice lace. Sweet, malty, caramel, bitter, very herbal and dry finish. Boring at first but when warming up and getting used to it, it became actually a very nice beer. The best till now of the German Fest/Weihnachtsbieren I had this year.

Nov 25, 2003 500ml bottle: I thought this was a bit of a dud after opening it and having my first sip. It had a bitter metallic taste. But after letting it breathe a few minutes, that disappeared and turned into a very nice beer. Pours deep copper colored with a thick white head. Tastes mildly of malt and hops and a little bit of grape. Very nice finish. A good beer.
