Cask at Alexandra Hotel, Derby. Quite sprightly and light, hoppy. Drinkable but glad I only had a half. Bit thin and slightly barnyardy.

Cask Conditioned & on Hand Pump from The Alex in Derby. With a sparkler. Very light coppery brown colour. Slightly iffy aroma. Very hoppy & bitter. Lots of grass & country notes in there.

A hoppy little number. Regulation pale amber colour. Quite good balance and slips down easily. A good session bitter. Cask (gravity), Thurrock Beer Festival.

Cask Conditioned, at the Thurrock Beer Festival.
Amber body with slight frothy white head. Big, forward hoppy aroma, what you’d expect from an IPA. Slightly thin but makes a perfect refreshing session beer. You could drink 10 pints of this happily.

Bright bottled @ Thurrock Fest. Fresh notes: "Clean, light, refreshing session bitter with hints of toffee and twigs. Score 2.8" More of the aroma comes through today - a pleasant smokey quality. A decent brew.
