1FastSTi (2432), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA Aug 18, 2008 My first Serbian beer. It pours to a clear golden body with visible carbonation and a frothy, airy starch white head. The aroma is crisp and hoppy with Saaz and I think hallertauer. Clean silage and corn. Smells pretty decent. The flavor is pilsener malt and a light watery base with some typical hops. A touch thin. Falls off the tongue and isn’t as bitter as I’d expect. It’s not bad.
jbuzz (578), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 27, 2008 Single from Discount Liquor Milwaukee. Nice Serbian Pilsner. Pale with a lasting thin head. Slightly skunky aroma. Good body. Not Great but good. LeopoldT (12), Lazarevac, Serbia Apr 25, 2008 Once it came into production it was a fine beer but now they’ve screwed up the production technology. Golden colored with a nice head, malty flavor and metallic taste. Medium carbonation. Foul smell Enjoyit (1197), Vadum, Denmark Feb 8, 2008 Pale yellow of color with a light white head. An aroma of fish, sweet malt and hay. A flavor of malt, hay and a bitter finish. High carbonation. Maria (4973), Thisted, Denmark Feb 2, 2008 Golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of straw and metal, and the flavour has an OK bitterness, notes of straw, grass and a bit of malt. It’s ordinary, but quite easy to drink. Thanks to Erik for bringing this one back to me!
