| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2006 33 cl bottle. Best by end of 2006. The beer pours to a hazy dark brown body with no head. The aroma is very earthy, nutty, yeasty, minerals, wood, and some sort of peat. The flavor is peaty, woody, nutty, earthy, minerals, and something strange. But, all in all it tastes decent. Strangely alluring. elektronikfagteknikerlærling (892), kbh, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 14, 2006 Draft at Duck Island. Pours a clear mahogany with a huge fuffy white head. With La Chouffe already under my belt I was prepared to love this beer, but there just isn’t nearly as much here. To be fair, I have to admit that I tried it right after a pretty amazing DIPA, but still... not much here. A bit of toffee and wood in the nose. The taste is sweet with caramel malt, and a bit of fruit and nuts. I’m thinking these guys should stick to Belgians and the occasional Belgian IPA. lululegrand (94), gent, Belgium
