Ungstrup (14754), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 24, 2003 A brown beer with a great head. The aroma is very fruity and alcoholic with notes of smoked malt. The flavor is very sweet - too sweet for my liking - with a great palate, but no hops to compensate the sweetness. The flavor contains notes of smoked malt, wood and fruits. A fine beer - with great memories. Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 4, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Dark amber with a reddish tint and an off-white head with pretty good retention. Very malty body with lovely notes of caramel and toffee - and spices too. Very discreet late bitterness. 311296 omhper (12155), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 21, 2004 Bottled. Ruby colour, lively head. Funky grapefruit mingle with toffee and yeast in the nose. The sweetness is balanced by a rich, but not overly heavy maltiness. There are notes of honey, oak and caramel. The finish is mild with just some grassy bitterness. A malt accented and discretely complex beer. Very pleasant, but not fantastic. yespr (11645), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 24, 2008 From tap at Ølbaren. Pours deep amber to brown with a dense light tan head, dense. Slight chalky, very fruity, mild wineous and spiced. Flavour is solid spiced, fruity and with a medium dry flavour. Ends with a lingering spice note. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Aug 3, 2006 Bottle 750ml. The appearance is mahogany (Dark black/brown) with thick creamy light brown head.
