Bottled. Red/Brown colour with a fizzy remaining head. Ozon-like juniper aroma. Flavour of tit-bits with a pronounced malty sweetness.

A nice light brown pour with a huge head to it. Aroma of toffee, raisins, and clove. A complex balance hits your mouth with estery flavors, malt, and hops balancing out well. Slightly alcoholic on the tongue and kind of a powerful one to drink by yourself.

A dark red, earthy tone that is very murky. It has a frothy and large head with some lacing. The aroma is a light fruity smell with an alcohol touch. It is malty, smooth, and silky. It is fairly complex and dry on the end. There is also a slighty spicy touch. Very enjoyable

Nice strong belgian ale, not as nice as plenty of maltiness and hoppy aroma and well balanced. There is also a lot of spice in this too, nice winter beer.

very rocky pale-tan head that has medium last. dark ruby/copper color. nose is whiskey-like, light peated malt, some raisin and dark fruit. also some grapefruit aroma. medium to light mouthfeel, lively carbonation and very creamy palate. flavor is dry and peaty malt, whiskey-like alcohol finish. subtle dark toffee flavors upon warming. Wait, now that it’s getting warmer, this is a completely different brew - this is tasting more like a brown belgian ale. it’s getting sweeter, more toffee flavors coming through, and less peat/alcohol. not a true scotch ale but I like this blend.

Oh man, really, really good. A scotch ale done right is so good, and this is awesome. I think I’ve had this before and just never rated it.

Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Aroma is fruity with a moderate apple presence, yeast, and a touch of caramel. Pours a somewhat transparent amber with an off-white head that lasts a minute or so. Lots of caramel with a hint of chocolate. Finishes lightly yeasty with some fruity tartness. Lively carbonation in the mouthfeel.
