A complex balance hits your mouth with estery flavors, malt, and hops balancing out well. Slightly alcoholic on the tongue and kind of a powerful one to drink by yourself. The aroma is a light fruity smell with an alcohol touch. It is malty, smooth, and silky. It is fairly complex and dry on the end. There is also a slighty spicy touch. There is also a lot of spice in this too, nice winter beer. MullMan (1086), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

Wait, now that it’s getting warmer, this is a completely different brew - this is tasting more like a brown belgian ale. it’s getting sweeter, more toffee flavors coming through, and less peat/alcohol. not a true scotch ale but I like this blend. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

Lots of caramel with a hint of chocolate. Finishes lightly yeasty with some fruity tartness. Lively carbonation in the mouthfeel.
