Though my bro thinks highly of this too, he remarks it then recedes gracefully from the palate. Interesting! AS for me: way closer to a Belgian Ale than Scotch, nicely toned yeast strain, hearty malty sweetness with a fine smooth finish, stout brown in color and refreshing body. Well done. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Created a dark opaque brown liquid topped by a creamy stout like head. The aroma has an old dead yeast and cardboard smell with some worthy notes of spice still. The flavor has some yeast and spice still and is actually good considering it has started to fall apart in its old age but its creamy texture and light touch of spices makes for a pleasant session. dornoy (681), Lyngby, Denmark

Poured a daaaaark and murky lovely red body with a medium-big thieck off white head. Malty nose, weak notes of dried fruit. The taste is sweetish, dominated by a somewhat bublegummy tasty maltiness. Dry hopiness leaving some aromatic notes. Dried fruit emerges from the maltiness and maybe some strawberry too. Overall very nice.
