8 May 2004 - LIght complex fruit malt, herbaceous, with some chocolate notes. Soap suds lacing, medium light brown head and a cloudy dark colour. Sweet hoppy long taste with a nice bitter balance. Sparling earthy aftertaste.

Poured a medium brown with a huge brown head. Tiny particles. Malty with spicy aroma. Sweet tasting. Tastes of caramel, brown sugar and spices. The tastes and aroma came out as the beer warmed up.

Love this line by my friend " ... dances on the palate." Though my bro thinks highly of this too, he remarks it then recedes gracefully from the palate. Interesting! AS for me: way closer to a Belgian Ale than Scotch, nicely toned yeast strain, hearty malty sweetness with a fine smooth finish, stout brown in color and refreshing body. Well done.

Dark caramel brown with a small white head. Aroma is mild sweet caramel, brown suger and laight yeast. Flavor is a bitter ripe fruit, spice and yeast with a tangy finish.

750 ml bottle purchased @ Ashur liquor. Created a dark opaque brown liquid topped by a creamy stout like head. The aroma has an old dead yeast and cardboard smell with some worthy notes of spice still. The flavor has some yeast and spice still and is actually good considering it has started to fall apart in its old age but its creamy texture and light touch of spices makes for a pleasant session.

Nice smell, filling taste, feel good on the tongue, not too dark in colour nor in taste, it is very good for meat and pultry. Altogether very drinkable

0.75 l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado - huge thanks! Poured a daaaaark and murky lovely red body with a medium-big thieck off white head. Malty nose, weak notes of dried fruit. The taste is sweetish, dominated by a somewhat bublegummy tasty maltiness. Dry hopiness leaving some aromatic notes. Dried fruit emerges from the maltiness and maybe some strawberry too. Overall very nice.
