Commercial Description:
McArdles is a very nice clean crisp Irish Red Ale. The beer is an amber red in color and has an aroma that is a combination of English hops and fruity esters. The flavor starts out with a light malt flavor that fades into a light crisp hop finish. Brewed with Pale Ale, Cara Vienne and Cara Munich Malts with First Gold Hops.

Brewed for McArdle’s Restaurant, 1355 Fairport Rd. ,Fairport, New York.

McArdle’s Irish Ale is a clear, red ale with a thin, dense off white film of a head that leaves nice lacing on the glass. It has a sweet malty aroma with a minty note. It’s medium-light bodied; smooth and soft with a pretty clean finish. It tastes slightly sweet and pretzely. It’s pretty malty at first, then the herbal bitterness creeps in and takes over at the finish and provides the aftertaste. It’s very easy drinking and I think it’s only available right around the corner from my house, which is cool.
