Served way too cold. Rated after about 12 minutes. Nose is a mild malt, clear golden, tiny white head. Light taste of malt and cereal. Very light bodied, almost no carbonation, no bitterness either. Ordinary, but it’s the best beer I’ve ever had at McKibbin’s. larsga (3000), Oslo, Norway

Pours a deep orange body with a thin, white, foamy head. Nose of bread with floral hoppy hints. Flavour of English bitter hops with subtle sweet malt. Finishes with a mild bitterness. Lovley. just lovley. Pours a rich sunshine gold, with just a tinge of ruby. Thin whispy head {except for one stupid bartender, who thought he was dong me a favour filling it to the rim with beer} that fades to a lovley thin cover with minimal but present laceings. Aroma is floral and grassy with strong presence of sweet caramel malt. Boddy is silky and a little chewy, with thin carbonation. Taste is VERY slightly bitter, dominated by sweet and nutty malts, and floral hops that are so lovley they remind me of a fresh spring medow. Undertones of ripe plumb, some citrus and mellon, with a spicy hop trace hiding in there somewhere. Aftertaste is first a little bitter, folowed by a bitter/floral balance, folowed by a chewy sweetness. Nice, very very nice. Cheers Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Average gold body topped with a thin and lasting white creamy head. Light hoppy aroma with some subtle herbal and flowery hints. Taste is not bad but it lacks complexity. Good carbonation. Leaves a fair bitter/hoppy aftertaste. Average everyday beer. Perfect with the pizza after moving into your new home. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
