I had the Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale earlier this week and it was similar only the smell was great but there was little discernable pumpkin flavour. fonefan (11122), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 28, 2009 Pretty spicy aroma with more subtle pumpkin notes. Very lightly sweet. A bit more pumpkin in the flavor. Nice. Like a nice cooked pumpkin dish more than a pumpkin pie. cfrancis (311), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2009 This is the best pumpkin beer that I’ve ever had. Aroma is cinnamon and clove. I love the smell of cinnamon. Initial taste is crisp with a smooth texture. Most of the flavours come out in the aftertaste. Pumpkin spice, cinnamon and clove become very prominent and give a great mouthfeel. Great beer, can’t wait till next year! Tmoney99 (4722), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
