Deep orange/amber, almost red, white head. The flavor is pumpkin, pie spices, nutmeg, caramel. The finish is a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, mostly spicy and peppery. The mouthfeel is thin/medium, slightly silky. Decent pumpkin ale, if not a classic. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2009 [Bottle, thanks wickedpete!] Pours amber with a small off-white head. Huge spice aroma with allspice, nutmeg, maybe some cinnamon, but not much. The taste is really lacking with some spice again, grape...at times it is like drinking mineral water. Fairly thin with an average finish. The aroma is the highlight of this beer, and even then it is just spice dominant and one-dimensional. I like pumpkin beers, but not this one. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Drank 15º C. Immediately sexy wine-like and enjoyable. Aromas of sweet malt mingled with spice and warm squashy aroma. Very different layers of flavor going on, with almost a tiny bit of gueuze-like beautiful musty sour feel over the late finish. Also some cola, citrus, spice. Not as "pie-like" as the others, and shows less grassy hops (which ordinarily fight the added spices). Could certainly be pumpkin in there, sure... but this is irrelevant, what we’ve got is a very seriously tasty beer. Buy shiploads if you see it.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Definitely one of the better pumpkin beers I’ve had. Very subtly spiced, but the nutmeg and cinnamon hints are there. Smooth drinking, smells great! Nice little pumpkin kick as well. DrHomolka (731), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 11.5oz bottle pours clear filtered copper with a small white head with poor retention. Aroma is like every other pumpkin beer known to man. Okay slightly better maybe but not really. Flavor is cinnamon and mild maltiness though the spice level is quite low. Super clean. This is very drinkable. Not super good in the pumpkin department or the uniqueness. No more pumpkin beers please unless you’re going to offer something different. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 7, 2008 341 mL bottle. (bb 31 mai 09). Deep ruby brown with a small head that quickly disappears entirely. Certainly the nicest smelling pumpkin ale I’ve tried. The spices seem to be distributed differently, and it’s not overpowering as so many pumpkin ales are. The spices are more pronounced in the flavour, but still are not overpowering. You can actually taste the underlying malt. Nice finish and fairly crisp. Not a big fan of the style, but this one ain’t bad. rodenbach99 (708), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2007 Clear brown / ruby poor with a thin off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, candy apple and wood mulch. Definite taste of pumpkin pie but with alot less sweet. Very nice balance and just enough spices. Lightly effervescent. Caramel malts, nutmeg, cloves completes the flavors.
