tomthompson89 (1456), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 26, 2008 bought at the lcbo, wish they had of brought in more. kinda a ruby pour, with good foam. nose is Pumpkin pie, nutmeg, ginger. flavor is similar and well done so balanced and drinkable. probably favorite beer i ave had by them. wilderthanyou (409), Guelph, Ontario, Canada Oct 31, 2009 From a friend at the LCBO. thanks buddy. I don’t really like pumpkins, so i figured I would not be a huge fan of pumpkin beer, I had southern tier pumpking a couple days ago and it wasn’t bad, i’m sure for someone who likes pumpkins it’s probably f’n amazing, this beer I would say isn’t as good as that, but I am enjoying it more because the pumpkin flavour isn’t so in your face.
Pours an amber colour with a head which dissolves to pretty much nothing. The aroma is big and spicey, pumpkin pie, the pumpkin takes a back seat to the smells of cinnamon, and licorice, I swear to god I smells something else though, like coca cola or something, but it’s good. The flavour is good, pumpkin pie, cinnamon, but ends on a strange coca cola note, strange, but it works. The weight is a little light, compared to southern tiers version, which is one thing that I preferred by them, a little higher of an abv might have help kicked this up a notch, but i still really enjoyed this brew. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA Oct 6, 2009 Source:12 oz bottle at a tasting in Nashville.

BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 4, 2008 Darker brown with a orange tinge. Decent sized faint tan head. Aroma is strong of gingerbread, nutmeg cinnamon, clove and allspice. Flavour is rich with a pumpkin pie taste with the ginger, clove and nutmeg very noticeable. One of the richer, well balanced pumpkin ales. Boutip (2333), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Aug 31, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Mr.V: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a medium foamy head with average retention. Aroma of canella and nutmeg and nutmeg is quite intense. Taste is also dominated by some canella and nutmeg as well as some light cloves notes (I could not notice any ginger even thought label mention it as one ingredient). Body is about average with some average carbonation. I don’t remember the previous version that was brewed years ago to contain that much spices but this was quite enjoyable nonetheless. tupalev (2605), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 13, 2007 Bottle shared with Mds, Hogtown Harry, Blankboy, and Gregclow, courtesy of Harry? Paul? Lovely aroma - lots of pumpkin spice, nutmeg - great. Taste follows - tons of pumpkin spice, nice medium malt body - great stuff! Too bad about appearance - just plain copper with very little head and looks thin - otherwise, really flavourful! DerWeg (748), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 9, 2009 Drank 15º C. Immediately sexy wine-like and enjoyable. Aromas of sweet malt mingled with spice and warm squashy aroma. Very different layers of flavor going on, with almost a tiny bit of gueuze-like beautiful musty sour feel over the late finish. Also some cola, citrus, spice. Not as "pie-like" as the others, and shows less grassy hops (which ordinarily fight the added spices). Could certainly be pumpkin in there, sure... but this is irrelevant, what we’ve got is a very seriously tasty beer. Buy shiploads if you see it.
Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Nov 4, 2009 Bottle courtesy of matt7215. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of fresh pumpkins, grass, hay, mellow pie spice. Tastes of pumpkin, some pie spice, full bodied.
