Aromas of pumpkin pie, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, candy apple and wood mulch. Definite taste of pumpkin pie but with alot less sweet. Very nice balance and just enough spices. Lightly effervescent. Caramel malts, nutmeg, cloves completes the flavors. Vertical Bacon Strips (891), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Poured out a small foamy cap that rims and leaves some slippery ropy lacing. Heavy spices that are particularly weighted on ginger and cloves with a smaller amount of cinnamon and allspice. Caramel as well. The taste is pretty much a very strongly spiced pie... I can almost taste the crust. There is a touch of mint or something on the back end and some mild hops with a citrus quality. Cinnamon flavoured candy and a very hard to find biscuit. Not quite medium bodied, long almost sticky spicy after taste. Would make an interesting breath mint! Winner - St. Ambroise in a landslide. cking (1023), North Canton, Ohio, USA

Chestnut body with a thin head and very minimal lacing. Light to medium bodied, spicy and sweet. Caramel, pumpkin, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Standard for the style. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2009 11.5oz bottle served in a shaker. Clear, reddish amber pour with a thin head of tan foam that settled into a lasting cap. Spotty lacing. The aroma included toasted caramel, pumpkin, and perfumey pie spices. The flavor had rich caramel followed b some vegetal notes and strong spicing. The cinnamon and ginger really stand out. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Slightly slick and lightly carbonated. Not bad. nuplastikk (1191), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 24, 2009 12oz bottle. Fitered amber-brown color, respectable creamy head. The pumpkin pie spice aroma is a little subdued, but still discernable. Medium bodied and malty, with some crisp astringent hop and spice notes upfront before fading into sweet maltiness. A touch too grassy and soapy in the bitterness, doesnt quite match or compement the pumpkin pie spiciness in my opinion. OK, tame pumpkin beer. fredthecat (192), Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 3, 2009 341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a dark, clear copper colour with fizzy, quickly disappearing off-white head. Nice spicy aroma of pumpkin, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon. Same spices very prominent in flavour with pumpkin more in background along with caramel malt. Crisp, dry finish with lingering spiciness. A nice fall beer. JaBier (1219), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 17, 2009 Bottle. Clear reddish amber pour with a huge beige head. Spicy aroma of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. Caramel flavor up front with cinnamon, ginger and clove. My only problem with this beer is that the spice leaves your tongue too quickly and your left with a somewhat watery finish.
