Commercial Description:
An intensely hoppy, very strong pale ale without the big maltiness and/or deeper malt flavors of an American barleywine. Strongly hopped, but clean, lacking harshness, and a tribute to historical IPAs.

Draft at the Parkville Microfest 2009. Bright, citric aroma, sweet, flora, fresh and leafy with a modicum of malt sweetness in the background, plenty of lemon and grapefruit and lightly toasty malts. Hazy medium golden color, head is fine, slight and lasting. Flavor profile is largely hoppy and generously bitter, more citrus and light malt sweetness, honey and pine with a well-hopped, mildly alcoholic finish. . Slightly oily palate, effervescence is medium, body is very full. Pretty tasty!
