On tap at the St. Louis Park location. Deep copper colored body with a long lasting light khaki head. The aroma is rich caramel with some light apple wood. The taste is lightly bitter toasted walnuts. There is a dry woody finish. A decent ESB.

Pint draft at the Kansas City brew pub. Pour is slightly hazy orange copper with a smallish white head. Quite a bit of active carbonation bubbles. Aroma is floral sweet caramel. Taste has some nice maltiness, and an almost grainy palate. Bright hop bitterness nicely accents the malt and grain. The biscuit toasty sweetness comes through in a nice layer right below the malt. This was tasty. MUCH better than the regular McCoy lineup.

Sampled on draft at McCoys. This bitter pours a faintly cloudy bronze-brown with minimal head and lacing. A rich, caramel aroma and flavor. Slightly bitter. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Would gratly benefit from more hops in the aroma addition.

Provided by Tom and served in a standard English pint glass:
Pours a coppery hue with a small frothy head and left good lace behind.
The aroma has notes of floral and herbal hops, dusty yeast esters, some light apple, and a note of bready and caramel malting.
The taste starts with light sweetness and a bit grainy with a mild but continous bitter background. Some acidic fruit is noticed but fades quickly. The finish has some lasting honey like sweetness.
The mouth feel is rather mundane, it just doesn’t do much. Perhaps a prime example of what a handpull could do for a beer. Fit framework of the style however.
A very drinkable beer, nothing outstanding but no major flaws either.

What a good beer. Scents of spicy/flora hops, caramel malts, and adjucts. Maybe corn. Very clear copper. Served with no head. Great hop flavor and very nice bitterness. They should drop their light beer, and make is a permanent.

On tap at the brewpub. This is a seasonal beer for McCoy’s. Orange amber in color. Slightly hazy. Hoppy aroma. Not buttery at all. Not as smooth as it should be to compare to standard English pub ESB. This is more of a pale ale than an ESD. A dud with nice lacing.

At the brewpub. One of the best that McCoy’s has to offer. Amber color. Light citrus aroma. Bitter, but not "extra apecial bitter". Pretty tasty with a sweet aftertaste.
