Jun 7, 2008 Pour is a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a bit chemical with a bit of ginger in there. Flavor tried to out ginger a ginger ale. That’s not a bad thing but the end result is a very sweet ginger beer with a bit of heaveyness. This is really to sweet to try more than just a sample but if you like ginger this is right up your alley. All the girls around us seemed to love this.

May 13, 2008 4 oz sample. Pale yellow, unfiltered, sour, tart, lemony nose. Taste is very sweet, a bit cloying, gingery, sticky, flavorful. Enjoyable taste but I could not drink a pint of this.

Aug 3, 2006 This was enjoyable if you like alot of spiciness in your beer from ginger. I prefer to drink ginger ale in a can and carbonated or with some bourbon, not in a beer, that’s just me.

May 27, 2006 Draft at the St. Louis Microfest - Hazy pale yellow pour with light head. Aroma had ginger and light bits of lemon. Light mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Prickly ginger taste with no apparent alcohol. Some sweetness, but not much. Nothing new on the finish. I drink non-alcoholic ginger brews and this taste like it has as much alcohol as those - none. It was a nice drink, but I still can’t believe it is a beer. I’d drink this again as I’m a sucker for ginger, in both food and drink.
