| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 27, 2006 Sampled at the brewpub. The bodyw as light yellow with traces of a white head. The aroma was light with bread and some grass. The taste was light bread crust and apple core. This was cloying dry and a little soapy in the finish. Decent for the style. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 12, 2005 An active yellow beer that’s very "Miller Light-y" ... light corn malt, medium starchiness. Why bother ... the two chippies next to me were still drinking macroswill in the bottle, so who’s buying this? SledgeJr (2961), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 15, 2002 I hate to see beers like this in brewpubs. There are plenty of ’regular’ bars out there that serve ’beer,’ as they call it, that tastes just like this (funny how I used the word ’taste’). But in their defense, at least McCoy’s offers a good selection of other, better beers to choose from. I didn’t really find Landing Light appealing in any way. I suppose, if you were comparing really light beers to one another, this one wouldn’t be too bad; and I’d say they did a good job at making a light-tasting, easier-to-drink-than-water beer. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 3, 2006 A very reticent take on this style. A bit of an adjuncts in the aroma, smells kind of weak, and it is, a very light mouthfeel, with a crisp clean flavor, lightly follwed by some lemony acidity, and a bit of doughiness. Fits the BMC crowd in this place perfectly. Not a great first impression. unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Tap @ McCoy’s Public House. Clear yellow color. Thin white head. Spicy hop aroma. Saaz. Nice carbonation. Unique sweet fruity yeast character. Very creamy and smooth. Nice peppery hop bitterness tingle left on the palate. Great light lager! BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 7, 2006 A deep golden color with a thick head. I got a few malts and hops from this and a lot of lagering flavors. The yeast was very tart and the end of the beer was very dry. This had a lot of off flavors. too many to give a good score.
