Andbrewer (18), St. Joseph, Missouri, USA Feb 25, 2009 Sampled at the brewpub. Found it to be similar to the Boulivard Wheat. Golden in color. Surprisingly smooth for an unfiltered wheat. Not much of an aroma. Good beer, but not out of this world. beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Jan 30, 2009 Sampler at the brewpub. Has a lightly hazy pale straw color. Aroma is a bit empty, some faint lemon with a bit of cereal sweetness. Taste is beefed up a bit more with some bubblegum added to it. Some corn in the end but it does not detract too much. A decent enough American Wheat. Braudog (3732), Dayton, Ohio, USA Dec 30, 2006 Draft at Yard House KC: Light golden hue with a slight haziness. Yeasty head. Very bready feel ... doughy, slightly lemony flavor. OK, but a lot "thicker" than a "normal" American wheat. heemer77 (4294), Savannah, Missouri, USA Dec 27, 2006 On tap at the brewpub. The body was pale yellow and barely cloudy. There was a light lemon aroma with some hints of fresh wood. The taste was dry and soapy with some hints of lemons. There was also some nasty old banana peel. This was, of course, served with a lemon.
