Indra (2023), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jun 30, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. Malty, fruity aroma, toasty, mildly citric and sweet with notes of red apple skin, earthy hop and faint cellar must. Lightly hazy copper color with a slight, fading head. Flavor is gently bitter to start, turning sweeter and fruity with toasty caramel malts, and finishing with a dose of faintly spicy, citric hop flavor. Some lingering spruce. Semi-dry, moderately carbonated palate, body is medium. Certainly a passable example of the style, has some hop to it. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Apr 2, 2009

beastiefan2k (1590), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA Mar 21, 2009 Shaker pour at the brewpub. Has a clear reddish copper color and a lightly sticky lacing. Aroma is lightly fruity hops with a clean, lightly dusty maltiness. Taste has the hops turned down a bit but and more grassy as well. Pretty simple stuff, hop centric.
