Chestnut colour with big cream head. Mild strange chemical aroma. Light roasted malt tastewhich is pretty bad. Flat and watery. Perhaps this is Scottish sewer water.

Bronze colour. Metallic note for both the aroma and the taste. I wonder if there is lots of iron in the water where they brew this stuff? Otherwise, there's a bit of hoppy flavor, but not much else going on.

Canned. Nothing special here. Had a sligth English hop taste to it but that was about it. Otherwise tasted like a beer.

Hoppy slightly rusty nose. Deep copper hue with a nice creamy white head. Fairly watery taste, slight toffee hints and a dominating rusty overtone. Not too offensive as there is hardly anything to taste!

This wasn't my best experience with a Scottish beer. Acrid in flavor with a horrible aftertaste. I had a hard time believing I was 1) having a truly bad experience with a keg beer and 2) paying $4 a pint for something that tastes like milwaukee's best ice. Oh well, you live you learn eh?

The Eagle, Inverness. I didn't have a good experience with this one. Tasted like metal shavings in the bottle. That could have been the problem. Or the pounding music. Or the pounding head...
