pretty disgusting beer. I’m sorry now that I bought 12 pint cans. at least it was cheap. aroma is metallic and sweet. aroma is much the same lacking hops and depth. pretty metallic with some malt and wheat notes. pretty watery palate. overall not very nice, but I guess you pay for what you get.

light rust colour...sweet-ish stale smell..ugh, this beer smells terrible..good foamy head, low bubbles...BLAH!!! tastes terrible...awful, worst aftertaste from a beer ever, dusty and metallic...if i find this on tap i’ll try a sample just to make sure but i tryed to different cans from diff locations and same kick in the balls results.

Pours a nice golden amber color. Aromas of floral and fruit. Flavor toasty malt, hop bitterness with a slight hint of citrus.

Can (BB 04/2007). Amber color, good big creamy head: skunky hoppy nose (eggs). Watery mouthfeel. Mild roasted malty flavor with off-balanced hops. Harsh, light finish.

Seriously this is only drunk by winos in England - its not bad beer but its on the same level as Tennatnts Super or Special Brew - for alcys or Scotsman only.

This beer really wasn’t very good. Looks like a bitter but, of course, isn’t actually all that bitter. Only their Scotch ale have I found drinkable.

Tasted 14/02/2006. 500ml can from New World, Island Bay. Red-gold, lowly carbonated, creamy off-white head that lingers and laces. Looks great but with the eyes closed there is nothing much going for this beer, at all. Mostly caramel on the nose, sugary-sweet, with a hint of toasty malt and estery fruitcake. Short, lightweight and watery in the mouth with suggestions of brown sugar, caramel and a slight smokey whisky character. Over-attenuated (probably due to the high ratio of simple fermentables). Metallic residue. I probably would have thought this was quite good 5 years ago... it certainly beats Tui, but only just.

Talk about bad beers. Smell is of can, taste is of rotten meat and the overall worth of this beer is slightly higher than the aluminium it sits in. Maybe not.
