Amber color, good big creamy head: skunky hoppy nose (eggs). Watery mouthfeel. Mild roasted malty flavor with off-balanced hops. Harsh, light finish. iamrobin (3), East Timor does not count | 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Seriously this is only drunk by winos in England - its not bad beer but its on the same level as Tennatnts Super or Special Brew - for alcys or Scotsman only. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Red-gold, lowly carbonated, creamy off-white head that lingers and laces. Looks great but with the eyes closed there is nothing much going for this beer, at all. Mostly caramel on the nose, sugary-sweet, with a hint of toasty malt and estery fruitcake. Short, lightweight and watery in the mouth with suggestions of brown sugar, caramel and a slight smokey whisky character. Over-attenuated (probably due to the high ratio of simple fermentables). Metallic residue. I probably would have thought this was quite good 5 years ago... it certainly beats Tui, but only just. CamdenD (625), Madrid, Spain
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jan 1, 2006 Talk about bad beers. Smell is of can, taste is of rotten meat and the overall worth of this beer is slightly higher than the aluminium it sits in.
Maybe not.
