Fairly standard golden ale. Reasonably high foamy head, light malty and appley aroma, quite neutral slightly bitter palate. An everyday pint.

500ml can. Poured a dark red brown with off white head. Some lacing. Some malt in the aroma. Not much else. Trouble is, if you take it outside to check the nose in London you get the drains. Roasted something flavour. Slight hops with chemical/alcohol notes. Watery mouthfeel. Sour finish. I wonder if their master brewer is enthusiastic about this beer. I can’t say its really bad but I didn’t enjoy it. This is one of a four-pack. I don’t know if I’ll ever drink the rest - maybe serve them to unexpected visitors.

Not much in the way of hops, bit malty. Agree with others that there is a metallic taste. Ho hum.

Had at The Eagle, Inverness. This was bad as the 70. Metallic...Loud music didn’t drown out bad taste.

Better than the beer that I had earlier tonite, but not that much better. Dark amber/brown body with a large and lasting off-white head. Metallic bitter taste that made it easy to drink but didn’t give much flavours to savour. Thin body with a pine/metallic hop finish with a faint hint of sweetness.

Draft. Amber color with a long lasting off-white head. That's about the best part of the beer. It has a light/watery flavor thats a little creamy hiding the malt and hop flavors. Clean finish, but you didn't expect a lot of off-flavors when you don't have much flavor.

Canned. Brown Amber, heavily carbonated. Tinny, acidic flavour with a tongue numbing carbonation. Can't detect much else, pigswill
